until he found your website/company. After the first delivery, I told him to only
use you. My flowers come alive, not yet bloomed, and watered. I have received two

Even if you haven't heard of Tony Howell,
you've probably seen his work. He's one of the more well-known landscape photographers
in the world and has produced countless, brilliant shots of beautiful flowers and
picturesque landscapes. His work has already been published in reputable books,
and magazines, and has been featured in dozens of calendars. His client list includes
big names like National Geographic, BBC, Christies, Penguin Books, and Unicef.
His website features some amazing flower photos, like the Livingstone Daisy.
Flower lovers can truly appreciate his eye for details that make an interesting
photograph. You can find your favorite flowers on his site by color or type.
Howell's story is unique. He is actually a self-taught photographer and has no formal
training. He took up photography at age 18 when his father gave him a Kodak Instamatic.
He started right off with sunrise and sunset images, then quickly upgraded to a
better camera.
Originally from Plymouth, in Devon, England, Howell has a notable love for the outside
world. He also credits his success to extensive practice and dedication. He realized
from the beginning that acquiring prowess as a landscape and floral photographer
would take a great deal of patience. Fortunately, Howell had an absolute passion
to succeed at photography - a passion he still feels today, over thirty years later.
Howell's favorite photographers, and idols of sorts, are Ansel Adams and Paul Strand.
Nevertheless, he works to stay true to himself and his own art form, rather than
be influenced by others.
If you're interested in Howell's camera recommendations, he uses a 39 megapixel
medium format camera and actually prefers working in digital format. If you're looking
for a digital SLR camera, he recommends both Canon and Nikon brands. He's also a
user of PhotoShop and advocates its usability.
